About Kavis

Karen Avis is one of RCL's Solar Specialists, joining the RCL team in January 2023! A teacher by day and a solar specialist by night, Karen's love for educating people and saving them money are the perfect match for creating solar projects to support her customer's needs. After dealing with her own home solar project and finding that all solar companies are NOT created the same, she researched the locally owned RCL Solar Enterprise and knew she found a place to call home. Integrity, honesty, and exceptional craftsmanship are what sets RCL apart from other solar companies.

Karen prides herself in being transparent and honest when working and educating her solar customers. She works diligently to ensure that the solar project she prepares exceeds every expectation set forth by her clients. She is a careful listener that pays attention to her customers wants, needs, and ultimate vision.

Karen grew up in South Jersey and still resides there today! She has been a middle school Language Arts Literacy and Special Education teacher for nearly 20 years and is passionate about building lasting relationships with her students and their families. She understands the importance of really listening to the wants and needs of her students and creates learning systems that are individualized and relevant. This same practice is applied when Karen creates projects for her RCL solar clients!

Karen is a music fanatic and loves catching live shows when she can! In her free time Karen loves to bake goodies to share with her parents and friends. Going "down the shore" or sitting by the pool in the sun are two of her favorite things to do! Additionally, she is an avid reader and a life-long student who enjoys learning every day! Karen is passionate about the success of her students, and she values the time she can spend withthem daily!
